The Nevada artist who releases her material under the Pixie Post moniker also identifies herself as The Pixie Post, not that there's anyone else out there who goes by any variation of Pixie Post. Even if there was, you won't have any problems identifying Pixie Post music. She's pretty much the queen of electronic dance music. Pixie beats are not overly complicated, rarely involve unusual time signatures, and don't normally include bizarre percussion-like voices. Instead Pixie Post just consistently delivers solid electronica almost always with steady, dancible beats. Her most popular track on Spotify is called "Pixie Verse Dimension." It's representative, but pretty much all of Pixie's material is similarly well crafted. There are almost no vocals - Pixie communicates through her musical vibes. But you can hear her voice on "I'm A Pixie," albeit processed with several effects. My favorite track of hers is "Inside The Pixie Stomp House," a rollicking, pulsing, high energy track that was reportedly recorded to get back at some noisy neighbors. But it wouldn't bother me to listen to those beats and sounds all night long. Bottom line... if you want some positive, fun, dance beats in your ears, you can get them by playing just about any Pixie track.
