Panmet composes retro music before the 2000s. He was especially influenced by composers such as Yuzo Koshiro, Motohiro Kawashima, as well as the bands Pink Floyd, Pantera and Metallica. His goal is to bring back the music that brought him a lot of pleasure as a teenager. That unique sound that is missing today.

His love of video games from the 80s and 90s also had a big influence on the sound. This is especially true for the Streets of Rage games on the Sega Genesis console. This is the main reason why Panmet started his discography with electronic music based on the sound chips of the Sega console.

In addition to all this, Panmet was fond of Italo disco music, and dance music in general. However, closer to the age of 11, he learned about other genres associated with Hard Rock and Metal. That's why his albums are so diverse, experimental and with great respect for the music of the past.
